I was born in the Netherlands. After completing my studies in fashion design at the Academie de Couture in Rotterdam, I moved to London, England, with my Canadian husband and worked in the fashion field for several years. After the move to Canada I enrolled in the Intensive Studies Programme at the Ottawa School of Art and graduated in 1988. From 1989 to 2001 I taught in the children and adult general programmes at the OSA. I lived in Switzerland from 2001 to 2005.
I have participated in many group exhibits and have had solo shows in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Canada (Ontario and Quebec). My preferred media are pastel, oil paint and printmaking. As to my favourite subject - just about any...
