Géraldine Petit-Gras was born in Aix-en-Provence (France) in 1977. She holds a Fine Arts diploma from the Ottawa School of Art since 2009. Her ceramic sculptures draw from a sea-like imagery as well as from myths and symbols of Mediterranean inspiration.Contemporary in her approach, she relishes the use of mixed mediums to add to the meaning of a piece. Her work evokes the duality of the outer gesture and inner emotions.
