Life modeling has always been on Kathryn’s wish list but the opportunity to do so only presented itself when she met Ottawa life model and artist Gustavo at a Canada day party in 2010. With a few guidelines from the master, the former editor/writer, horticulturalist and co-owner of a clothes store is now eager to work as a life model and photographic model.

Kathryn is in fact a natural; she is still, takes challenging poses and her full body, big smile and great energy do the rest. She is still in the process of exploring her physical abilities; for now, kneeling down is reserved for short poses…She likes to give it her all and describes commitment and a lively imagination as definite strengths. She loves to pose with a theme in mind and uses props like a rope, a pole or even a spade to stay in her role. Indeed, Kathryn delivers a performance and is very believable while doing so.

Kathryn loves the physicality of modeling, the pleasure of nudity, as well as the connection with the artist and eventually the viewer of the art work. She is a no-nonsense, strong and mentally tough model who strikes all the right notes for those who like to draw curves.
