Leah studied History and Religious Studies at Ottawa University, and is currently a writer of prose and short stories. She was bluntly asked to try out life modeling by Ottawa model Brent B. Flattered and intrigued, and with some fashion modeling experience as a child under her belt, she took on this new challenge in the summer of 2010.

Leah comes well-prepared to a modeling session. She has planned the poses she is going to hold. She is not very flexible, but she takes advantage of her long limbs, sometimes even prolonged by a pole or high heels, thereby creating a dynamic ensemble of gestures. She surprises with her remarkable endurance, holding long standing poses during which she is completely still and able to maintain the gaze; she definitely delivers what she takes on.

She describes life modeling as liberating. It has helped her to accept herself as a whole: both mind and body. She feels proud to be part of an artistic creation and thrives on the knowledge of a job well done.
