Luminita 'Lou' Serbanescu

Luminita was born in Transylvania, Romania. She studied architecture at the University in Bucharest. She experimented with drawing, painting, watercolor, sculpture, photography, etc.

With a diploma in Architecture, and a life changing relocation to Canada, she worked hard at developing a small home design business and raising a son. Little by little art began to reclaim its rightful place in Luminita’s life. Colour and shape, light and shade, texture and materials have found their way on canvas, recreating strong emotions, peaceful places, people and landscapes, and above all this light that made a strong impression on a disciple of the famous motivator Anthony Robbins, whose motto is: Live with passion! Art has truly become a full time passion, to be nourished and revered.

Luminita is a member of Nepean Fine Arts League and Ottawa Artists Association. Her art was shown at several locations throughout Ottawa as well as in the Cortile Gallery in Provincetown USA, and is in private collections in Europe, USA, New Zealand and Canada.
