Janice Street

Native to Ottawa Janice received her Commercial Art diploma at Algonquin College in 1974. A graphic designer by trade, she combines her passion for photography with Graphic Design.

Photography is a powerful tool for Janice. It allows her to fuse her passions for nature and light and composition. She is inspired by design and detail. Her keen eye seeks out beauty, captures it and creates a window into her world for all to see. Her painterly photographs take the viewer on a journey of discovery. They challenge the eye; engage the spirit. "I am always looking", explains Janice, "I record fleeting moments in time, like a masterpiece of frost created by nature's hand, gone as soon as the sun hits the window".
