Terry Rempel-Mroz

Terry firmly believes that the world around us is too big to be restricted to one style or medium of representation. Primarily an Abstract Expressionist, she works in Acrylics, Oils, Dry Media (Graphite, Charcoal, Coloured Pencil) and Photography, where her work is much more representational. In fact she finds she needs the realism to 'reboot' her abstract creativity.

Terry has been showing since 2003. She has participated in juried shows in Canada and the US, including the 2005 and 2007 International Juried Art Exhibits and the 2010 Juried Exhibit of the Frederic Remington Art Museum. Her abstract paintings have been chosen 3 years in a row for the Ottawa TimeRaiser event (2008, 2009, 2010). Her coloured pencil work has been featured in three issues of FMP (From My Perspective) an online ezine by Ann Kullberg, and is featured in Kullberg’s book “Colored Pencil Secrets for Success”.
