Tony was born in Toronto in 1953. He holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto and B.ed. from the University of Ottawa. He has worked for the past 20 years at The Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre (Ottawa), in The Creative Arts Program; instructing seniors on painting, printmaking and woodworking. He is a strong believer in Art as a restorative and wellness activity.
Exhibitions include: The Goethe Institut Toronto, Gallery 101 Toronto, as well as the NAC for the performance of 'Frida K'. A number of paintings were featured in 'The Selected Gwendolyn MacEwen (Exile Editions 2007). He exhibits frequently at Cube Gallery in Ottawa.
