Vanessa Mayville

Vanessa Mayville (born and bred in Ottawa) is currently in her 4th year of Fashion Design at Ryerson University. She excels in fashion figure sketches.

Painting and drawing were always an essential part of her childhood and she was especially excited to be accepted into the Canterbury H.S. Visual Arts program. She completed the Arts Leadership training for the City of Ottawa and has assisted in the Children programs at the Ottawa School of Art.

Vanessa prepared two portfolios to go on to academic studies, one for York's Fine Arts program and one for Ryerson's Fashion Design. She was accepted to both and chose Ryerson.

She is hoping to return to Ottawa after graduating to pursue a career in both fashion design and fine art.
